While at SGK, I was honored to partner with the creative team to design a tranquil retail experience inspired by Japanese art and architecture for ASICS at The Running Event in Austin, Texas for their 2024 booth. Utilizing their brand elements, the team and myself curated a special experience for those who walked through it. Crisp design elements with natural earth textures including warm wood tones and soft garden sands enveloped the dual pad space perfectly. The challenge was to create a more industrial space focused on the performance run testing at ASICS' Institute of Sport Science and pair it with a comfortable and tranquil oasis that focused on ASICS' 2025 brand messaging "feel comfort, find calm" and traditional Japanese elements.
Throughout this project with many moving parts, I aided in developing a visual center for each of the spaces and then continued to apply the designated look and feel to the booth.
